two thoughts on getting new board shorts with about a week ’til its time to head back to college.

1. better late than never.
2. board shorts are so cool, perhaps i can wear them to class and pretend they’re just shorts.

thought #2(A) relates to me asking an internal question (is it vain of me to write blog posts about clothes i buy?)

potential answer to #2(A), also in two parts:

1. perhaps a little but why the F$!@ is someone willing to read my blog if they’re not looking for the inside track on my life
2. if you are willing to read about my life, you need to know about these shorts cuz i am STOKED about them

*** note, the man in the photo above is 100% not me, though if you took a photo of me in the shorts from that angle, it would difficult to find any differences.

as i endeavor to ride the nerd card into the cool camp, purchases like this loyal army joystick hoodie (warm gray) are inevitable.

but for real yo, its a warm, well-fitted hoodie with some excellent game controllers drawn hipster-style on it. and i think that’s cool. and i think that makes it a worthwhile purchase on the road to defining my own “look.”

plus, my brother maintains that these type of heavily patterned hoodies are all the rAgE on the west coast. so maybe i am ahead of the curve, provided it moves like the jet stream.
